States
A state is a sovereign land claim that has been recognised by other states, as well as the Continental Union. All states in the Survival World have to be part of this union. Despite membership of the Continental Union, individual states still have their own laws and policies. Some have chosen to retain their courts and parliaments as well, with others having decided to leave such responsibilities to the union.
